Dr. Patty Ranaivo is a Ph.D. analytical chemist, educator, and entrepreneur with experience in top U.S. corporations, small business ventures, and academia.
Her expertise spans analytical chemistry, equipment validation, and project management. She has designed and developed analytical methods for biocides, drinking water contaminants, pain medications, and plant ingredients, including cannabis and essential oils; managed complex projects using continuous improvement strategies; and conducted FDA reports and audits.
She has authored scientific papers, presented at conferences, and holds patents related to water analysis.
In 2024, she launched Makaaina, an online startup focused on Madagascar essential oils, reflecting her passion for plant-based healing and commitment to her roots.
