Lavender: The blue jewel of Bulgaria

Gergana Andreeva is executive director of the Bulgarian National Association for Essential Oils, Perfumery and Cosmetics (BNAEOPC), a non-profit legal entity, founded in 1999.

BNAEOPC unites 169 companies in the industry, including manufacturers and traders of essential oils, manufacturers and distributors of perfumes, cosmetics, toiletries; manufacturers and suppliers of raw materials, packaging and equipment.

BNAEOPC is a full member of prestigious international and European organizations such as the European Cosmetics Association (Cosmetics Europe – The Personal Care association), the European Federation of Manufacturers and Traders of Essential Oils (EFEO), the International Association of Natural and Organic Cosmetics (NaTrue), the Bulgarian Institute of standardization (BIS).

The main priorities in the activity of BNAEOPC arepromoting Bulgarian essential oils and cosmetic products, while raising the awareness of the business regarding any new normative requirements to production processes.
