Lavender in Perfumery: From Cologne to Fougère.

Nina is a perfumer, aromatherapist, and educator with more than fifteen years of experience working with essential oils and natural fragrance.
She is the founder of Magnolija and the Nina Medved Perfumery School, where she teaches students how to understand and create with scent in a way that is both grounded in science and open to personal experience.

Her work connects aromatherapy, perfumery, and the psychology of smell.
She is especially interested in how scent influences emotions, memory, and inner states, and how it can be used as a gentle tool for well-being and self-discovery.
Through her courses and formulations, she encourages a deeper, more intuitive relationship with plants and their aromatic molecules.
Nina’s approach is clear, practical, and sensory at the same time—combining knowledge of chemistry with a respect for the subtle, often unspoken effects of fragrance on the human mind and body.
